 A partial list of services provided by Winthrop Radiology Associates, P.C. at our
radiology office or at other specialized offices is provided below. If you don’t see
the type of examination you need on the list call us at (516) 663-4510.
Services are provided at the radiology office (WRA), the Breast Imaging Center
(BIC), the P.E.T. Positron Emission Tomography and Nuclear Medicine Center (PET),
the Radiation Oncology Center (ROC) or at the
Winthrop-University Hospital Department
of Radiology (WUH). All are conveniently located within walking distance of each other.

Two leading radiology organizations, the American College of Radiology and the Radiological
Society of North America, have jointly created a web site called “Radiology Info” that will
answer many of your questions about examinations. Other radiology organizations also provide
helpful information. We have created links to these informational sites. Simply choose the
line with the type of examination that you need and click your computer mouse on the highlighted
words “Educational Information.”
